How-to-Specify
Tension spring capacity is determined by tarp length. Dump truck features such as cab guard length and height will affect tarp length and recommended system and options for a proper system fit. To calculate your truck tarp length, download our Truck Spec Sheet Here from the How-to-Measure Specification Guides section in our Document Library. If your application has non-standard features or you need assistance, please Contact Us.
One Button. Load Covered. Keep Moving
Every minute your driver spends manually tarping a load is a minute your truck isn't earning. Roll·Rite's electric dump truck tarp system automates the process, providing fast, reliable coverage while reducing the risk of driver injury by eliminating the need to climb onto the truck body. Increased productivity, improved safety, and dependable performance are just a few of the reasons the TarpMaster® Series remains the industry’s go-to choice for electric tarp operations.

FAQs
What's the difference between the TarpMaster 300, 400, and 500?
It's primarily body length and axle configuration. The 300 fits single axle trucks up to 16 ft. The 400 handles tandem axle applications up to around 24 ft of tarp. The 500 is built for tri-axle and multi-axle trucks up to 26 ft. Spring count increases with body length to maintain proper tarp tension.
How do I figure out which system fits my truck?
Download the Truck Spec Sheet from Roll·Rite's Document Library. Cab guard length and height affect tarp length, so exact measurements matter. You can also use the filters on this page or contact a Roll·Rite dealer near you.
Does the TarpMaster® work with any tarp fabric?
Yes, it's compatible with Roll·Rite® mesh, vinyl, and asphalt-rated tarp fabrics. Fabric type affects spring capacity requirements, so factor that in when selecting your model. Tarps are sold separately.
Is installation something a shop can handle, or does it require a specialist?
Most experienced upfitters and truck body shops can install TarpMaster® systems. Roll·Rite also has Service Centers across the U.S. for professional installation and support.
Where can I buy a TarpMaster® system?
You can purchase through Roll·Rite's authorized dealer network or one of several regional Roll·Rite Tarp and Safety Service Centers. Use the dealer locator on rollrite.com to find the closest option.
