More Information
Safe Fleet Brand Roll Rite

1 - Which trucks and containers is the DC800 Series designed for?

The Roll·Rite DC800 Series is designed for tandem- or multi-axle roll-off and hooklift trucks carrying similar-sized detachable containers up to 40 cubic yards, with tarp lengths up to 30 feet long. Final fit depends on mounting and clearance requirements.

2 - Does DC801, SKU 69801, use a stationary or sliding pivot?

This configuration uses a stationary TORC pivot. Roll·Rite positions the DC800 Series for similar-sized containers; the DC850 Series (SKU 69851 and SKU 69852) is designed for varying-sized containers and features adjustable sliding pivots.

3 - What does TORC pivot technology do?

TORC stands for Tension Operated Rotary Cam. It uses gas springs rated to -30°F, without steel springs or hydraulics in the pivot. It maintains near-constant tension through the tarping cycle to help keep the tarp securely on your load over rough terrain, at highway speeds, or in harsh weather conditions.

4 - Is TORC built for repeated heavy-duty use?

Roll·Rite reports more than 105,000 test cycles and describes hold-down performance at highway speeds, on rough terrain, and in harsh weather.

5 - Can I upgrade or retrofit to a TORC pivot technology?

If you currently have a DC400 top mount stationary pivot system, you can retrofit your existing system with our TORC pivot technology without replacing your whole system. Contact Us for details or your authorized upfitter.
